How long should you wait after having dermal before you fly?

If you're planning to fly soon after having dermal fillers, it's important to consider how long you should wait before getting on an aeroplane.

As a general rule, we recommend waiting at least 48 hours before flying to allow the fillers to settle properly. This is because the cabin pressure and altitude changes during a flight can cause swelling and discomfort, which may affect the results of your treatment.

However, it's always best to check with your practitioner for specific advice based on your individual circumstances. They may recommend waiting longer if you've had a particularly sensitive or complex treatment, or if you have a medical condition that could affect your healing process.

At our aesthetics clinic, we always prioritize your safety and comfort, and we're here to answer any questions you may have about dermal fillers and air travel. So if you're planning a trip soon, make sure to book your treatment with plenty of time to spare, and don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you need any advice or support.
